The name “Apollo” derives from the Sun, symbolizing light and energy essential for life. Throughout its history, Apollo Public School has been a beacon of unity, loyalty, grit, and determination. Generations of passionate individuals have nurtured its flame, dedicating themselves to its mission with unwavering commitment.
Founded in 1991 under the auspices of the Shri Guru Raghavendra Education Society, Apollo Public School began humbly with just over 13 students in a modest campus. Over the years, it has blossomed, not just in size but also in the quality of education and infrastructure provided.
Today, Apollo Public School stands as a testament to the dreams and aspirations of countless students and parents alike. It continues to illuminate young minds, preparing them not just for academic success but also for the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead in their futures.

I believe that success follows those who follow their heart. The focus at APS is to offer 360º development to students, giving them a nurturing environment with sufficient exposure. We ensure that the students imbibe essential qualities, which not only help students realize their passion but equip them to achieve it in an efficient and ethical manner.
Being a Founder Chairman, I have realized the true value of lessons learned outside the bounds of a classroom. At APS we go beyond and ensure that our students get the best of indoor and outdoor training, molding them to think critically, synthesize knowledge and reflect on their own thought processes.
Through this we ensure that our students excel not only within the education system but in the real world as well, allowing our students to “Arise, Awake, and Ascend”

From the Principal’s desk
It has now been 34 years since we first conceptualized our dream for The Apollo Public School. Today as I look back at this journey, my heart is filled with satisfaction and gratitude.
I am satisfied with the way our students are shaping up; the way they are rising to their potential and most importantly their authenticity. Inter-disciplinary themes, projects, and expeditions have now become an integral part of the curriculum. Assessments are more humane, comprehensive, and in no way judgmental. The students are happy coming to school, engage well in classrooms, and feel free to speak their minds. The entire community is curious and hungry to learn and grow.
I am grateful to all the teachers and parents who have supported the growth of the school. The work it took to make all of this happen was extraordinary. It takes courage to create an environment of questioning in the classroom. It takes vulnerability and strong leadership on the part of teachers to become learners with children. Our teachers have taken complete ownership, and at a huge personal cost, to give the best to our students.
I am grateful to all the parents for their unstinting support. We started our journey with questions not necessarily with answers. I admire your patience, in giving me and my team the space to find these answers. I am grateful to you for putting your anxieties behind you and putting your faith forward. I am grateful to you for trusting us with your most priceless gift.
