Apollo Public School Admission Process: A Step-by-Step Guide for Parents

How admission works at Apollo Public School, Sunkadakatte: scheduling a visit, eligibility ages by wing, fees and documents, the Class IX and X test, and how admissions are finalised.

6 November 2026

Applying to a school for the first time can feel like walking into a process nobody has explained. Which form? Which date? Who do you talk to first? This guide walks through admission at Apollo Public School in Sunkadakatte step by step, so you know what to expect before you pick up the phone or arrive at the gate.

Step 1: Schedule a Visit in Advance

Admission at Apollo starts with a visit. The school asks parents to schedule an appointment in advance rather than walking in. The admission office’s visiting hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and Saturday from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM. These are a narrower window than the school’s general office hours, set aside specifically for admission consultations. The general hours are 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM on weekdays and 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM on Saturdays; Sunday is a holiday.

You can book by calling the school on 080 2358 9114 or by submitting the enquiry form on the Admission Process page, and the admissions team will get back to you.

Step 2: The Campus Visit

When you arrive, the admission office takes you through the things most parents want to know: the school’s teaching methods, its facilities, the fee structure and the admission process itself. You are also offered a guided tour of the campus, which is usually the most useful part. Seeing the classrooms, the playground and the labs in person tells you far more than a description can.

Come with your questions. The visit is your chance to ask about the wing your child would join, how a typical day runs and anything specific to your child.

Step 3: Check the Eligibility Age

Each wing has an age band:

  • Nursery Wing: 3 to 6 years
  • Primary Wing: 6 to 10 years
  • High School: 11 to 16 years

These are broad bands rather than a class-by-class table. The exact entry class for your child, and the age reference date the school uses, are confirmed when you enquire or visit, so it is worth asking directly if your child is close to a boundary.

Step 4: Ask About Fees and Documents

Apollo does not publish its fees online, and the documents required depend on your child’s entry class. Both are confirmed directly by the admission office. You can ask in person during the visit, or use the “Request Fee & Document Details” option on the Admission Process page and the team will get back to you.

This is a sensible thing to do early. Knowing the fees and the paperwork before you decide saves a second trip.

Step 5: Application Verification and Seat Availability

For Classes I to VIII, admission depends on seat availability in the relevant grade. The school verifies the details provided in the application form before it finalises anything, so accurate information at the start avoids delays later.

A Different Route for Classes IX and X

Classes IX and X work differently. Admission here is based on the candidate’s performance in their previous class and on a written test conducted by the school. The school may shortlist candidates based on the results of the written tests and interviews. If your child is joining at this stage, ask about the test early so there is time to prepare.

Step 6: When Admission Becomes Final

Acceptance is not the last step. Admissions are finalised only after the child’s internal assessment results are declared and their documents have been verified. Until then, treat the process as in progress.

Admission results are available only at the school office, so plan a visit to collect the outcome.

Where to Go and Who to Contact

The campus is at 851, 8th Cross, Gajanana Nagar, Srigandha Nagar, Hegganahalli, Sunkadakatte, Bengaluru 560091. You can reach the school on 080 2358 9114 or write to apolloschool1991@gmail.com. If you would rather not call first, the enquiry form on the Admission Process page reaches the same admissions team.

A Few Practical Tips

  • Book the visit first. Everything else follows from it.
  • Bring your child’s details and questions. Age, previous school if any, and anything that matters to your family.
  • Ask for fees and documents at the visit. They are not on the website by design.
  • Check the entry class and age date if your child is near an age boundary.
